Day 0. The Flight

The day before the trip, we freshened up Anton’s look.

We drove to the airport.

We left the car in the airport parking lot. For two weeks, it’ll cost about the same as a taxi from the airport to Minsk and a shuttle to Mogilev.

There are about 1,300 spots in this lot. When we arrived, they were all taken. We had to wait for someone to leave. The guard called — only ten spots left on the second lot.

Turns out you can’t carry two screwdrivers in hand luggage.

Lucky I didn’t bring my mace this time!

The flight was at 12:05 a.m. We got hungry.

But they wouldn’t sell us pistachios at duty free. Because we were flying to Armenia. No imported goods allowed — only Belarusian booze and sweets 😱

So before boarding, we snacked on Belarusian shrimp.

Flew Belavia. The plane was small. I was surprised by the announcement: “Hand luggage with green tags goes under the seat in front of you, blue ones go in the overhead bins.” Never heard that before.

The flight was 4 hours. There were tons of people at passport control! But they worked fast — everyone got through in about 20–30 minutes.

Checked into a regular Yerevan apartment on the 10th floor.

Took a walk to a 24-hour grocery store. Yerevan at 6:30 a.m. Never seen it this empty before :)

Took a selfie and went to sleep.
